June 21 - August 21
At Baraka, Stanfordville, NY
76 Halas Lane

The exhibition features works by
50 artists from around the world in collaboration with Kardash Onnig,
a Hudson valley-based sculptor, activist, author, inventor, and toymaker.

Inclusiveness and cultural bridges have been key themes in Kardash’s work for the past 40+ years. This installation is comprised of Torsos sculpted out of clay and manure by Kardash and “finished” by the participating artists. Kardash refers to this artistic exchange as “symbiotic synthesis.”

The installation will serve equally as a means to raise funds for the children of Gaza, a statement of protest, an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and a tribute to the victims’ will to endure.

Each Torso is $2,000
